"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." – Dr Seuss

We aim to encourage all students to develop a life-long love of reading.

All our students are automatically a member of our library meaning that they can borrow books at any time.

Miss Dillingham, our full time librarian and teaching assistant, is available throughout the day to assist students within the library. No matter what you are interested in, she will find something that you will enjoy.

All our Year 7 & 8 students are enrolled onto the Accelerated Reader programme and enjoy a reading lesson a week as part of their timetable. This allows them access to a wide range of books whilst also allowing us to support them with developing their reading and comprehension skills. Home can also be involved in supporting this program through the HomeConnect link where you can find out about how your child is progressing. From September 2020, Year 9 students will use the Accelerated Reader programme too.
