If your child has been with John Kyrle for their education during the years 7 to 11, they may be familiar with the canteen.
If you are new to John Kyrle, the school catering is out-sourced to a national company called Alliance in Partnership. The kitchen also provides meals to several primary schools in the area. We operate a cashless system called ParentPay where you can top-up your account online, but the canteen will accept cash via the revalues that are based in the dining room.
Our General Manager who oversees the kitchen is Paula Addison. She works closely with the school and students, especially in respect of dietary requirements and food choices.
The menu operates on a three-week rotation for the main hot speciality dishes. There is always the staple offer of jacket potatoes, pasta or baguettes if your child would prefer this.
Sixth form students have the privilege of being able to access the canteen before 12:30pm for lunches and during normal lesson time, if they have a free period.
