Catering at John Kyrle High School is provided by Alliance in Partnership, a nationally recognised catering company. Our kitchen also prepares meals for several local primary schools, ensuring high standards of food quality and service across the community.

The kitchen is overseen by our General Manager, Samantha Pearce, who works closely with the school and students to support dietary requirements, allergies, and food choices. We operate a nut-free kitchen and kindly ask that students do not bring nuts or nut-based products into school, as we have students with severe nut allergies.

Menu Options

The canteen offers a three-week rotating menu featuring a variety of freshly prepared hot meals. In addition, students can choose from a range of everyday favourites, including:

• Jacket potatoes
• Pasta dishes
• Freshly prepared baguettes

• Baguette and cake: £2.50

Food Service Times

Students can purchase food and drinks at the following times:

• Breakfast Club (all year groups): 8:00am to 8:40am
• Morning Break (all year groups): 11:15am to 11:40am
• Lunch (Years 7, 9 & 11): 12:40pm to 1:25pm
• Lunch (Years 8, 10 & Sixth Form): 1:40pm to 2:25pm
